Shively Park : Located at 3920 Dixie Hwy. This beautiful park boasts 21 acres of tree filled land with gazebos, tennis courts, plenty of play places for the kids, a fountain and a retired army tank in the front. Shively park sits right next to the Shively police station so you can feel safe and secure while spending time in the park. City hall is also located in the park as well as the Library. Leeds Park : Located on Leeds Road. This park is a small but beautiful spot, great for elderly walkers with play equipment for children and lots of trees for shade.

Bud’s Tavern: 4014 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216. Bud’s tavern has been in business since 1968. The outside has a large covered patio in the back for outside dinning with the grill going nearby to keep you mouth watering for the food. Speaking of food…Bud’s has GREAT food with large portions, good ingredients at a fair price.
Ott’s Tavern : 4229 Hillview Ave, Louisville, KY 40216. Ott’s is a small place with a big following. The patrons and staff are very friendly. They have a large covered porch out back with lots of seating and fans to keep you cool in the summer. There is plenty of parking as well. They also serve food with very large portions for a very small price.
Roosters : 4420 Dixie Hwy Ste#101, Louisville, KY 40216. Roosters is a casual dinning experience specializing in comfort food and chicken wings. They have an outdoor seating area with large screen T.V’s. Various T.V’s inside as well to catch all your sporting events.
